Yarn held double to approximate fingering weight; alpaca is lovely and so soft, but a bit slippery and therefore more difficult to work with than wool or a wool blend. The results are lovely, however, and feel wonderful against delicate skin. I knit this to use up stashed yarn and test-knit the pattern a second time, and I’m glad I did. I will definitely wear this scarf.
