I have decided to re-block this shawl into a shape as close to that of a symmetrical triangle as possible. I did not like how it hung the way I originally blocked it, with the long edge as a curve. Pinned out, it’s 62” by 26”, but it’s very tightly pulled and I expect it to relax by several inches once it’s off the pins. I have also blocked both of the shorter sides into scallops. The lace side lends itself to that and on the other side, that was just the easiest way to do it without blocking wires.
