There must be something wrong with the pattern because it says that the gauge is 14 stitches x 10 cm and then asks you to chain 122 to get an 89 cm. circumference. But with a gauge of 14 you’d need to chain 125! Not only that but I’m using the 6mm. hook as requested and I’m a whopping 13 st x 10 cm, using the 5.5mm. I get 13.5 st x 10 cm. and it’s not until I get to 5mm that I get to the desired gauge. I know tension highly depends on the knitter but this is the very first time I get such a huge gauge difference following a lion brand pattern so it stands out.
