Pattern Modifications:
Using a 6.00 mm hook instead of a 6.50 mm.
Rd 3 - BLO (using two loops). Start with the ch 3 as the 1 dc, then doing a 2 dc in the same stitch next (instead of 2 then 1)
Rd 4 - Start with a standing single crochet instead of the treble substitution. Use two tr in each st of corner trebles to fill the gap better. Did a ch 1 instead of a chain 3.
Rd 5 - corner becomes dc in both tr, 1 dc in corner space, ch 3, 1 dc, dc in both tr. Continue as pattern.

20170818 - Joining has begun! Using technique from Cypress Textiles Continuous JAYGO for Hexagons with Half Double Crochet.

20170831 - Joining complete. Tomorrow it’s working in ends. Size after assembly is 50” W x 70” L

20170902 - Beginning edging using a 5.50mm hook. S/H dropped another size for the DC (Betty rd 6) because of waviness. We’ll call it an intentional ruffle.
WS - One round sc in Royal to counteract curling and add depth.
RS - One row hdc in Soft White.
RS - (Betty Rd 3) V-Stitch in Soft White. Ripped out because “no dye lot” doesn’t work when the yarn is a couple years older than the current batch.
WS - (Betty Rd 4) Bobble in Macaw - working on wrong side as per Dedri Uys tutorial.
RS - (Betty Rd 5) SC, extended HDC, SC - HDC was easier for me instead of an extended SC. Next time I will use a DC and not envelope the chain. Rolls to the back. Note: Should probably have gone up a hook size? There is waviness in the next row of DC
WS - (Betty Rd 6) all DC - normalized stitch count to multiple of 3 because next row will be my last.
RS - (Betty Rd 8) Modified Treble Bobble in Royal. Used a slightly smaller hook 5.5mm hook but should have gone down a full hook size.
