Intrigued by this scarf so giving it a go.

Did starting chain with Red Boye J hook and body with Green Boye I hook.

Replacing the beginning ch2 with a ch1 and HDC in the first stitch for a firmer edge. This also eliminates the need to “finish” the ends.

I also realize (now that I’m almost done) that most patterns working in the BLO usually put the first and last stitch of the row through both loops. Would do that if there’s a next time.

No gauge given. Only getting 40” long. Can’t tell if the width is ok.

It was helpful to me to put a stitch marker in the first and last stitch of each size stitch.

Final scarf had 13 rows on one end and 15 rows on the other. Don’t know where it went wrong.
