Saw this project done by nath512 come through Finished Objects the other day and based on their notes I decided to give it a try.

Using the light blue Made in USA I or 9 5 1/2MM hook to get gauge.

Hint
Put a stitch marker in the HDC after the bobble so that it doesn’t get missed on the return.

- At the end of Row 15, piece is 6 1/2” wide.
- At the end of Row 25, piece is almost 10” wide.
- At the end of Row 31 (midpoint), piece is 12” wide. It has a depth of 12” also.
- At the end of Row 58, folded piece is 22” wide so approx. 4” smaller than pattern size. (My stitches are always shorter than gauge.) The pattern does not end with the same number of even rows as it begins which irritates my sense of symmetry.
- I replaced the last row with HDCs through both loops and did a Pass Loop Through join. Tried it on before cutting the yarn and I wouldn’t want it any larger. Worked out well.
