Notes

Choosing your yarn:
This project is based on the concept of double knitting, where one holds two strands together, creating a thicker yarn.

We take 5 strands of fingering weight yarn and cake or hold together as you work, to create a yarn that measures around 4:medium 8wpi.

You can match up any yarns you like Coordinate or contrast colors, blend compatible fiber types, get creative! This is an excellent stash buster.

You’ll need a total of 150g

To Knit:
9mm/US13 needles

  1. Cast on 23
  2. Knit garter stitch for 27” or as long as you like.
  • twist end stitches for tidy edges
  1. Bind off and weave in ends.

To Crochet
Size M hook

  1. Chain 23
  2. HDC each chain
  3. Repeat HDC rows to desired length.
  4. Weave in ends.
