Notes

This was a sort of experiment. I wanted to see what certain cables looked like knitted up, and also, I just enjoy knitting cables.

The cable patterns all came from the Harmony Book: 220 Aran Stitches

I had thought about making an afghan but the strips weren’t long enough to suit me. (Although I did love making the cables, and the way they looked). I had thought about frogging it, but my kitty likes to “knead” it and get her fur all over it, and cuddle it, etc. so it’s now hers.

I knitted it up and did most of the seaming almost a year ago, but finally seamed it up the rest of the way. I didn’t weave in ends though, because, hey, it’s a cat blanket.

3/9/2009
I decided to go back and weave the ends. Sasha was chewing on them, and I have nightmares of her eating string and then getting it all bound up in her system and dying or needing major surgery. :-(
