Planned Mods:

• Ribbing on the sleeves instead of a rolled edge.
• Ribbing on main sweater will be shorter.
• My gauge was 18 st/4 in on size 9 needles. The gauge for the pattern is 16 st/4 in. So, I am making the 44 inch size to get an approximately 40 in size. I didn’t block my swatch like I usually would, because I have exactly the amount of yarn called for in the pattern. Yeah, I’m really living on the edge! Hopefully once blocked, the sweater will expand a bit, which would be perfect.

At the buttonholes, and I tried the one-row buttonhole, but I just didn’t like how it looked. I did the buttonholes called for in the pattern instead, and now I’m tightening them up by doing some buttonhole stitch around the edges. Just need to finish that, add the buttons and do the collar and I’m DONE! Yay!

Couldn’t knit for about a week because of neck/shoulder pain, but today, I finally got this done. Maybe if it weren’t raining and 41 degrees F a week before June, I could get some better photos. Ah well. Also, I needn’t have worried about running out of yarn. I had a decent amount left over.
