Notes

This is a nice slip stitch pattern, with fewer rounds of slipped stitches than I usually use. And with no purl rounds. These two colors contrast enough to really stand out. I started the decreases when hat was 7 1/2 inches long, with the ribbed brim folded in half.

Not chosen

But this hat was one of many not chosen. I made many more than the number of students in the class, so this many hats shown in the photo were not chosen. But I thought someone would prefer this one.
