I am making this for a baby rug/blanket. I have yarn remaining after the baby hat and sweater.
I want to use as much of the remaining yarn as I can, so I am choosing a pattern that can be stopped at almost any time. I started late last night and will finish this morning. I am a slow, tight crocheter, so projects tend to take me longer to complete.

Seems too small, even for a baby. Maybe if I can attach a stuffed toy it would be better, as it is closer to a “lovey” size.
