It is my best friend Carole’s 60th Birthday. I asked my talented sister Ann to make a plant pot for a gift.

She made a beautiful pot and I thought I would have a go at making a doily to go with it.

I hope Carole enjoys her unique gift:)

I extended the doily a little as I was using d.k. and not worsted weight yarn and decided to just add a little picot border.
