Just completed a throw for my sister with 12” squares and I decided to make one for my home, but using 10” squares this time.
As with all projects made for myself, they take a back seat, so other projects take precedence! Hence, these squares have been in my project box for a year now (where does the time go?)
Aug 2012
I have finished all of the squares and have decided to add a beige border to each one to get them all to 33 dc on each side + 2 dc, ch 2, 2dc for corners.14 October 2012
September 2012
I’m going to extend this afghan to make it big enough for my daughters bed, as she has taken a liking to it. I can always make another blanket for the sofa in the conservatory.
3 November 2012
I have frogged the part of the border and have taken one row of squares off the top of the blanket and will add them to the side to make the blanket shorter and wider, so it fits Cathy’s double bed.
I have made a few more squares so I have the 36 required and have added the beige borders to 3 of them.
All the pattern details are on my project pages for each square.
