I found 6 squares that I originally made for 2014 BAMCAL and thought I could add 6 more and make a throw for my best friend Carole. It is her birthday on the 5th so I have 5 days!!

I love this square and have made it several times before.

I extended it to get to the 10” requiredl

To extend as I did:

Make square as per Krystal’s pattern.

Rd 1: 1 sc, ch2, 1sc in corners, sc all along (21) (23 with corner sc).

Rs 2: 1 sc, ch 2 1sc in corner, ch 3, miss 2 sc, sc into next stitch along.

Rd 3: 2dc, 2ch 2 dc in corner. 3 dc in each ch 3 space along.

Rd 4: 2sc 2ch 2sc for corner, sc in each dc.

Rd 5: 2dc, 2ch, 2dc for corner, dc in each st along.
