Another blanket (No: 5) for the 2018 Stash-down Blanket Extravaganza. DD Libby and I have pooled our unwanted yarn and we are making blankets for charity of friends and family.

This blanket has a retro vibe I think. I like the colours together, so another enjoyable blanket on the hook:)

Used the join as you go method to join the squares. A tutorial for which is here

I decided to finish this one off with a pom-pom border just like the one I did on this blanket.

Pom-Pom Border:

In corner chain 2 space, sc, ch3 and work 4 dc into top of sc, remove hook and place into 3rd of beginning ch3 and pull yarn through, making a popcorn st, ch1 to secure, sc back into the same space as the beginning sc, sc into next 3 sts, which should bring you to the middle of the next 3dc cluster* and repeat from * to ** all around.
