This blanket is going to be for my daughter Susie’s friend Charlotte for her baby due in December 2019.

We don’t know whether baby is a boy or girl, but Charlotte wanted white and grey with accents of pink, mustard and blue.

She has a pretty chair in the nursery in these colours, so the blanket with fit it nicely with the colour scheme.

I tried a mustard stripe, but it was a little bright, so I thought I could make some small star motifs in the accent colours to add to the edge of the blanket.

If Charlotte doesn’t like them she can take them off and just have the grey and white blanket.

This pattern is nice and easy and I am pleased with the Paintbox Yarn. The fabric is very nice and is on par with Stylecraft Special D.K. which is my other favourite yarn to use.
