Lenny loves Paw Patrol, so I thought I would make him a jumper with his favourite character Chase.

I hope it fits him. It looks a little on the small side to me, but not to worry as I have another little grandson who can wear it next winter:)

I made this on my very basic knitting machine. I have to lay the yarn over the appropriate needles and then run the carriage over. It’s a very old machine, but it works very well for picture knits.

I’ve made numerous picture knit jumpers on this trusty machine for my own children and family over the years.

It took me a few hours to knit the front, as on some rows it seemed as if every stitch was a different colour, but it was much quicker than knitting it by hand.

I do have to knit the ribbing by hand and there is the sewing-in of all the ends, but its a labour of love.
