It is my grandson Lenny’s 3rd Birthday and he is into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in a big way, so i thought he might enjoy a new sweater.

He really loves wearing his Paw Patrol Sweater that I made him recently.

He has also ordered a Lightning McQueen one too, so that will be next on the needles for him before the machine is put back into hibernation.

I made this one a little bigger than the Paw Patrol sweater so he will be able to wear it for a little bit longer before handing it down to his baby cousin Eddie to grow into.

I was lucky to find the pattern in my collection by chance. I had forgotten I had the Turtles and it was a great find whilst looking for another pattern.

I bought a lot of these patterns when they were first released and made quite a few of them for my children.

The Turtles first came out when my son Richard was a little boy and he was so happy to get his figures when my sister-in-law brought them from the US while she was on holiday, they were hard to get here at the time. Now his little son is enjoying them too.
