My gauge is off, so I am making a S/M to fit a 12-14US.
To figure out the marker thing, I use some comments to work it out. I folded the circle in half, lining up the armholes to get the center top stitch (North,) and the center bottom stitch (South). Then, I counted 29 stitches on each side from the center. Those got one color. (so four total purple.) then marker 23 stitches from the purple marker towards the East/ West side of the circle. (so four white total.)
I eased on at the purple marker on one side for the first decrease row as specified in one note, sc, hdc, dc then tr. Before the first white marker, inc, before second white marker inc, then decrease at second purple marker, turn.
repeat as directed, copy for other side.
So far, the fit is pretty good, before sleeves and before blocking.

I am going to pick up the sleeves and work them in the round all the way down.

I like it- I made kimono type sleeves, and it is blocking. I hope for better photos tomorrow.
