Notes

I was playing with dyes some time ago and wanted to find a way to create a gradient with little work.
I used the last two skeins of worsted I had available to dye a gradient that went from blue to purple (ish).

The skeins sat around for a long time, until I tried to make another Outono out of them. Turns out, I didn’t have enough yarn for that, and no way to dye more of it.

I’m using the pattern listed as a guide line only and tweaking as I go. I started this cardigan the day after I blocked Tru Wuv and added one skein of Cascade 220 that I had in hope it would be enough. I don’t think it will be, but since the gradation is going from purple to blue, I might be able to dye more yarn in blue (and I do have enough undyed yarn).

To get the sleeves and body to match I have to break the yarn after each stripe and knit body and sleeves 2 rows at a time (I’m alternating the dyed skeins). It’s slow going and there will be a lot of ends to weave in.
