Wonderful to knit, but I did the one mistake that tinking won’t solve- cast on the wrong number of repeats.

I generally modify patterns (intensionally). This was one I was willing to follow to the letter. I do like the hexagonal shape, though, and plan on doing the same “mistake” again - after I knit a decent square one.

Since I thought I was doing the square version, I did the double leaves on every other corner, for this “new” version all single corners or all double would work best.
