I made several swatches using this yarn it looked best in stockinette. The striping effect overpowered any other stitch. That is why I selected this pattern to work the shawl.
I used half a mm bigger needle than the recommended size upon the recommendation of the pattern.

About the edging: I did not want to make the simple edge, but the edge given by the designer just did not work. The disruption in the colours was too noticeable and looked ugly. I had to add an edge that maitains the continuity of the striping effect of the yarn colors, here I chose Feather and fan. I adjusted the number of stitches to be a multiple of 18, and added stitches to compansate for the increases to maintain the half circle shape.

Overall, it came out nice.
I must say though that I do not like the yarm much.
