Created this pattern based on a tiny crocheted keychain I bought years ago. I “reverse engineered” the duck toy.

Going to add this pattern to my short list for teaching college students how to crochet:

• Donut pattern, to teach students how to read written instructions.

• Chicken pattern, to teach students how to read a chart.

• This pattern, to show simple shaping.
