Cast on with long tail, ran out of tail, finished casting on by knitting on.

I am now on row 26 and by my calculations, I am going to run out of yarn. I am going to try to find a kind soul on Ravelry who will sell me the leftovers from a project they have finished with it. I really don’t want to buy another whole ball when I probably only need 10 grams. Wish me luck.

May 2009 I got some yarn from another raveler and am about to begin using that small ball, but I think I am still going to run out by my recalculations. I made a spreadsheet to calculate the % of shawl knit and have compared that to the % of total yarn (my original ball plus the leftovers of another raveler) and am going to come up short. Off to find someone else with some left.
