I should have paid more attention and started this on more smaller sized needles. this thing is frickin’ huge. I can’t even imagine what it would look like blocked. I way underestimated exactly how much yarn this would take. At this size I think the garter stitch section is a little too big, and the next time I knit this I’ll be using either smaller needles or cutting the garter section in half.
(I’ve got an excel spreadsheet of the garter section of this project, if anyone wants it shoot me over an email)
This was a good learning experience for me. Normally I go for immediately gratifying knits so it was nice to start/finish a project that too me more than a couple of hours from start to finish.

I was running out of brick so I decided to finish off early. There were supposed to be 32 rows and I ended it at 28.

I took for granted how much yarn this would take to knit. I’m 6 rows from finishing and I’m going to have to pick up another skein of brick.
