First time knitting this I used a baby acrylic yarn (white) that did not end up feeling very nice.

The second time I used Malabrigo Rios in the color way Aguas. The colors are beautiful (better in person than in photos) but there was a lot of color bleeding. I rinsed it a bunch of times until I didn’t see anymore color in the water. I hope it doesn’t turn the baby blue!

The blanket itself ends up long and narrow. If I knit this again I would add at least one more pattern repeat to the width.
