Notes

Added this pattern to my queue 10 years ago. The yarn has also been in my stash for over 10 years. Perfect pairing for the Sept/Oct Thrifty Knitters Sock Club challenge: knit your oldest queued sock pattern.

—16 rows for 1.5 inch cuff on US 0/2 mm needles.
—Knitting in the back loop for ktbl, p1 ribbing was challenging at first. My hands kept wanting to revert to autopilot k1, p1! laughing
—Magic loop using my Addi’s 2.5 mm. Do not like the dull tips or the cord on the Addi’s, but other sock needles occupied, and my 40 inch US 1 HiyaHiya’s have disappeared. (Possibly kidnapped by daughter?)

—3 pattern repeats (7 inches of cuff) & row 20 of the chart was last pattern row knit before dividing to knit heel flap

10-28-2024

Fell while roller skating and fractured my right wrist!!! 1st sock is finished and I have knit 2nd sock down to the heel portion. Project now on hold until cast removed and wrist heals!
