Notes

Modifications: standard toe using Judy’s magic cast on, 24 sts
2 extra rows on cuff
2 rows of MC at beg. of heel instead of 1, which made the second row of CC2 row 1 of part 2 (does not effect #of rows in heel)

Finished the cuff only to realize because of my toe modifications the heel will be in the wrong place. Ugh. Frogged back to scrap yarn placement and moved it to last half of round. This will put the join jog on the side of the foot instead of the bottom, but I am not starting over from the toe! Hopefully if I make these again I will remember to move the toe increases

This heel doesn’t block well on flat sock blockers. I’m not blown away by the fit, either but it was good to try something different

Next time I will make a little gussett to add 4 sts at ankle
