Notes

162 size 8/0 beads semi-opaque white
78 St cast on. Inserted a purl on the ends of each chart.
Added beads on front charts on stitches 9 and 25, rows 42, 48, 54, 78, 84, 90, 102, 108, 114.
and Chart B row 54 stitches 4 & 30

After charts C & D I had 70 sts on the heel needle. I moved the two outside purls to the front to maintain the rib pattern on the top of the instep. So my heel was the same # of stitches as the size large socks.

Reduced to 73 stitches at gusset: 37 on instep needle, 36 on sole needle. The sole needles then contained 2 purls on each end, which I wanted to change to knits before the toe, so I did the following
Round 113: Needle 1 - instep pattern (size large)
Needle 2: p1, purple 1/1 cable, k 30, green 1/1 cable, p1
Round 114: Needle 1 - instep pattern (size large)
Needle 2: purple 1/1 cable, k 32, green 1/1 cable
This leaves all the sole stitches knits.

I started the toe decreases on chart F row 133, and finished on row 159 with no repeats of that row. I did a p2tog in the center purls on row 159 to make the # of stitches on the top equal to the sole (14). My feet are 9.125 inches in length (size 8.5US) and I was just able to squeeze in the entire chart. My row gauge was more like 11.75 stitches per inch. I recommend for people with size 8-9US feet to check row gauge very carefully and maybe use a 2mm or smaller if you want to do the long foot. If your feet are smaller than size 8 I doubt you will be able to do the long foot option.

Note to self if I knit these again: consider making the heel a few rows taller, and add a few more stitches to the cast on if knitting with 2.0mms.
