Notes

Medium cast on (62), large length heel flap. At the heel turn I have 31 sts, the heel turn pattern numbers don’t work, so I am doing row 2 as: sl1, p4, p2tog, p1. That centers the turn properly. Picked up 23 sts along each heel flap side. Reduced to 66 sts at gussett

The pattern on the instep puckers quite a bit, making the top of the foot shorter than the bottom. Suggest using a smaller needle for the sole stitches to compensate. If I make these again I definitely will
