For my first socks I picked this pattern. I used DPNs for the first time on the sweater sleeves I just finished. Now that I’m working on this sock I feel like I can definitively say that I’m not a big fan of using DPNs. Too much starting and stopping; scooching and fiddling. I think I want my next pair to be toe up 2 at a time. Not sure what’s a good pattern for that to try for the first time. Will ask around.

I did a better job on my first sock than my second one, but I think I have the basic idea down. I like the worsted weight pattern, and I would probably make these again the next time I need to make bed socks.
