This is a fun pattern.

I’ve been following the row count chart in the pattern. I’m alternating colors after 4 rows. The chart skips from 37-48 so it’s missing about a dozen rows in the chart. It doesn’t have a huge impact as long as you’re paying attention to what you’re doing, but just know that you’re not as far along in your project as you think you are.

I finished the body of the blanket on 10/31. Today was spent working on the border. The border is only 2 rows on the top and bottom edge of the blanket. I think it looks terrific. Lots of ends to weave. I’ll be working on that during the week ahead. It’ll be ready for the shower, I have no doubt.

This was a fun project. I’m taking it to a baby shower this afternoon. I hope mom likes it. I will say I marked the pattern down to 4 stars because the row count chart was not correct. Since I had to pay money for the pattern I feel the pattern should be 100% correct.
