A friend of Scott’s has very recently been diagnosed with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer, IDC, positive BRCA1 gene mutation. I don’t know what that all means, but it sounds vicious. He asked me if I could make something for her. Yes, I can!

I used all 5 skeins, I had less than 18 inches of yarn after the bind off. Going to wash it and lay it out to dry. This yarn is 100% polyester, machine wash, dry flat. That’s dumb.

The blanket, though, is so bouncy and squishy and warm. The pattern is super easy, and I’ll measure it out after washing. With my calibrated eye, I’d say it’s about 4 feet square.
