I can’t say enough good things about this pattern and yarn. The pattern was fun and easy. I would be willing to make it again. The yarn is plump and soft, and it’s my go-to acrylic so I’ll use it again.

My finished project measured approximately 48” square after blocking. I used the recommended hook and counted my rows many, many times to make sure I didn’t miss any. I’m not disappointed with the size, but it definitely wasn’t 58” X 49” in dimension. I bought plenty of yarn and could have kept on going if I wanted to, but sometimes a blanket project can overstay its welcome and I wanted to finish it before it reached that stage.

The wedding is May 16.
