For my wee brother’s 49th birthday
Using both yarns together
total weight: 66.4gr
Resulting combined yardage: 224 m

This is worked top-to-brim, with brim worked sideways and attached to the body stitches as it is worked
When I finished the brim… I realised it was too long!
To avoid having to re-do the brim, I cut just above it, unravelled 2 body repeats, and joined brim and body with a 3-needle bind-off

The brim seemed a bit flimsy, so I picked up stitches all around it and knit an inner band in 1x1 rib, folded and joined with 3-needle bind-off
Now it fits well and is cosy over the ears!
