Another pair using the stitch pattern from this pattern. I do love the way you can’t see the pattern until you stretch it!

I cast on 70 stitches, and did the heel over 36 stitches, decreasing down to 32 for the sole. I did the top of the foot over 34 stitches, decreasing down to 32 for the toe.

I stopped doing cables one repeat before the heel, as the last pair I made wore through on the cabled stitches on the back of the heel, where my shoes rubbed them.

This yarn was lovely to work with, like knitting with velvet :)
