1/3/15: Couldn’t decide on needle size (I knew that 2.75mm would be too big) so I went with 2.5mm. I completed almost 2 pattern repeats when I realised that it was on the big side so I changed to 2.25 for the third repeat. And now I’ve frogged and CO again with the 2.25mm. It was just going to be too big. The yarn is dark but really pretty in it’s colour variations.

11/3/15: 37 heel flap rows;
19+ gusset: k2 rounds before start of dec, dec 2 edge st rather than 1 in from edge
8 repeats on foot (64+1 rows)

12/3/15: decrease to 32+1 then every row to 16. Note for left foot to do an extra 2 plain rows before toe decreases.

25/3/15: Done. And before the end of the month.

26/3/15: Photographed un-washed. (The colour is definitely showing lighter/less saturated than IRL.) I’ll report on how the first dip in water goes later. I love the fit and how the yarn has worked with the pattern. It goes to prove that eyelet patterns show off dark yarns the best.
