Notes

Love, love, love this colour. I’m finding this yarn a little slippery but now that I’ve got a few more stitches on there and a little bit of knitted length it’s not as bad. I have the setup and 1 repeat done. So, just 20 more repeats to go.

I’m almost finished the border. Only about 25 rows to go. I found each pattern repeat actually went quite quickly and was much easier than expected. I’m loving this colour and yarn. For picking up I changed the tip to a 4.5mm because I tend to be tight.

I’ve surprised myself - I’ve finished! The short rows just flew off the needles. I modified the CO a little by purling the first half rather than knitting. And, yes, I have the hump. It really is a small shawl but, if you were confident about your yarnage, it could easily be enlarged.

Aggressively blocked this. I love the smocked effect in the body. This mainly grew in width with the resulting shawl actually quite narrow. The hump blocked out into a subtle curve.
