Frogged: Well, not really. The whole project,in as-is state, was gifted to a knitting group friend who is a far better crocheter than I am. I’ve really gone off the colours. I think she plans to use the yarn for charity knitting as she can’t match my tension.

Started July, 2010…. remembered in June 2013.
First crochet project, inspired by a picture in a book. (1st photo) Found a booklet at Mum’s that has different granny square patterns and, pretty much, chose the most basic. The plan is to make a stack of granny squares and then join them into a blanket. They will be joined so that like coloured squares will form bands radiating out from the centre. (Rather than randomly joining them.) Colourd purposely chosen because they aren’t bright & therefore ‘traditional’ afghan colours.
Photos represent what I found when I opened the tub 3 years after starting.
