Using all colours of fingering weight yarn plus some lace-weight held doubled.
Duplicate Stitching:
I’m doing my duplicate stitch before binding off and stuffing. Stitching seems to turn out much better too if I use yarn just a tad thicker than the puff was made of.
Weekly check in total:
Sep 10/11 = 12 puffs
Sep 17/11 = 20 puffs

Oct 29/11 = 91 puffs
Nov 14/11 = 91 puffs! (puff- hiatus to do xmas knitting)
Feb 12/12 = 100 puffs! (I took a LONG hiatus! Plus I gave away about a dozen on various swaps and other projects…. finally whipped up the two handsful of hexi’s to bring me up to ONE HUNDRED!)
Feb 21/12 = 108 puffs
Aug 2017 = after a couple years hiatus on this I’ve picked it back up to work on. My goal at the moment is to have all the puffs I need made by year end and spend January sewing it together.
Sept 9/17: 151 hexipuffs!
Sept 30/17: 177
Oct 15/17: 204
Oct 22/17: 220
Oct 29/17: 236
Nov 5/17: 254 (added 18)
Nov 12/17: 268
Nov 19/17: 281
Feb 15/18: Finished 300 hexipuffs and sewed them together into a small blanket 30x40 inches. It is on display at our local Art Centre for the 3rd AnnualFibre Arts Exhibition. I am pondering the challenge of continuing on with puff making and doubling the size eventually. For now, it’s complete.
