Turned out smaller than I had anticipated. Hard blocked but size did not grow as much as I had hoped - maybe due to 100% wool content. I mostly use acrylic/cotton for this type of project where size and stitch definition is greatly enhanced by blocking. I experimented with a larger hook but as I tend to crochet more loosely as my work progresses, I was afraid my stitches might become sloppy. Having said that I am still very happy with my completed shawl. I would definitely make it again and perhaps persevere with a larger hook or buy extra yarn to add more length.
