Notes

My 2nd Ingenue, this time an alpaca blend stranded w/pink mohair; gauge spot on. Used a total of 4 skeins Moonshine and 3 skeins mohair. Moonshine is luxuriously soft, with a beautiful luster. I really wanted a 1960’s Ann Margaret/Joey Heatherton type of Ingenue and thought mohair would be just the thing to put it over the top.

Followed pattern directions exactly, with the only mods being the collar/cuffs/hem worked in baby cable rib from Wendy Bernard’s handy, Up Down All-Around Stitch Dictionary, and making mirrored M1R/M1L increases. Also I also did not sew neck hem but instead, picked up c/o stitches onto a separate circular and worked 3-needle b/off. Did not block as I was afraid of sweater growing, fit is generous as is with especially chubby sleeves. Neckline slides around a bit.
