For the Nerd Wars prime number challenge - a triangular shawl with triangular borders (3s), knit in 3 directions (body, border, and edging are all added a different way), in 2 colorways, with 29 edge pattern repeats. The second color is overdyed, rather than being a different base dyelot - one packet each of cherry and orange koolaid to get a nice reddish brown out of the green.

Because I was going up to sport-weight, and size 8 needles, I decided to make it a little smaller than the ‘small’ pattern so that it didn’t become a blanket - so I knit to sixteen stitches shorter on the body, which takes an edging repeat off each side (original count was 31 repeats). The colors remind me of the Lost Woods, a recurring setting in many of the Zelda games, and in particular, the character of Saria, who is their guardian in Ocarina of Time

After blockiing, the wingspan (including pointed border) is 74”, and the length is 24”
