Used the amazing Fish Lips Kiss heel - will never use another again! It’s brilliant! Was worried that extra bit of stockinette at the heel would be weird, but it totally works!

I have struggled with the concept of knitting socks … i am terrible at counting rows and don’t want mismatched socks, (not to mention second sock syndrome) but I find knitting two at a time to be so slow and tedious! Using a cardboard template to measure against solves that problem! So I alternate as I knit … I’ll knit one sock toe, set it down, then I knit another sock toe. Then I knit one foot, then the other. Then heels, then legs. That way I never feel as if I’m “finished” after knitting only one sock.

My brother has big feet - increased toe to 64 stitches total.

main pattern:
round 1: k6p2
round 2: k

Knit the leg as long as the foot (minus the toe). Knit 12 rows 2x2 ribbing for cuff.
