Learned to crochet for this! Apparently, when doing double crochet, it’s not supposed to curve, but because this is a neckline, the curve works!

I didn’t do anything other than the double crochet. When I picked up every other stitch to begin knitting, it puckered awfully! I started over picking up 2 out of three stitches and that worked much better. Because that made for more stitches on my needles, I kept the underarm chain to 30. When I picked up the underarm stitches to knit, I picked up each stitch.

Started with smaller needles for the bust then switched to 11s

Followed the pattern, which made it only long enough to cover my midriff, so I just kept going. At some point (not really sure how many more repeats I did) I stopped increasing.

Added straps after. Picked up six stitches and did as follows on every row:
* Slip as if to purl, K1 * repeat to end.
