Had to add a few stitches, due to yarn substitution. I also used the technique suggested by a respondant to Vickie’s blog to add a bit of a bottom to the cozy, so the drink wouldn’t slip out when I go to pick it up. But I adapted that some too. I just can’t leave nuthin’ alone, lol.
I cast on 20, knit those, then increased on the next row to 25, did a purl row, then increased again on the next row to the 35 stitches I wanted. And this bottom section is in reverse st. stitch, so that it would curl towards that little hollow space in the can’s bottom. Then on the next row, I reversed it so that it was proper st. stitch on the right side, and followed Vickie’s pattern from there.
