I did a provisional cast on, so that later when it came time to fold that edge in half and sew, I could do the 3-needle bind off. Worked out very nicely.

Measuring from my heel to the tip of my pinky toe, I only needed to knit to 8” instead of the pattern’s 8.5.

For the crochet seaming, I used a US size F hook, but then switched to a bigger H size for the part that goes around the cuff, for a bit more slack.

These fit perfectly, and unlike a lot of slipper patterns, I don’t walk out of them! Gettin’ that heel-to-pinky toe measurement is the key to that ;-)
