Isn’t this cute? And cool?

My Kari design is very close to my heart and not only because it’s such a fabulous treat to wear. I designed it especially for the Hill Country Weavers, which is a lovely LYS in Austin Texas. They invited me for their yearly retreat, and of course I had to make something special for that occasion, so Kari was born.

The design is based on the iconic Chanel jacket, but without the very ladylike feeling (and manners) that often comes with it. Instead, Kari will make you feel and look good in every situation, also when you are drinking a beer straight out of the bottle, with your feet on the table.

The yarn was a gift from sweet Julie, and it really is just as yummy to work with as to look at.

I’m totally ready to conquer Texas in my Kari, and I cannot wait to find out what other knitters think of her!
