I’ve long been fascinated by the Japanese Sashiko and Boro techniques, and I’ve been eager to incorporate their unique look and feel into knitwear.

When i started thinking about a special design for the Knit on Texel retreat, I felt it was time to give it a go.

And I’m glad I did! I’m over the moon with this sweet eye-catching but super easy to throw over everything cardigan.

Until now, I could not wear it as much as I would have liked to, since it needed to be pristine for the retreat, but now that is done, I’m sure it’s going to be in heavy rotation
