I guess you can tell how smitten I am with my Niobe

I made not one but three (!) versions, and now I am totally set for winter (with respect to hats, that is).
Niobe is such a perfect little project for all those left overs! I bought the yarn for the blue version (Rauma Finull PT2) because that is the sample the pattern is based upon, but the dark and the green version are made with left over from my two Yara shawls (Tukuwool for the green version and Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk Vilje for the dark version) with a little left over Einrum fom my Morgana shawl mixed into the dark version.

I think it looks just as good in two as in three colors, but I can imagine you could use more than three (fade, anyone?) as well.

Since this relatively quick and super entertaining project is perfect for gift knitting, I’m quite sure there will be sisters, brothers, nephews and nieces with a Niobe hat in my future ;)
